A Day in the Sun

I had the opportunity to take some photographs of this cute little girl yesterday. We met at a local park. She was so cute! I just wanted to squeeze those cubby little cheeks. She would also grab her mom's purse, sling it over he shoulder, wave and shout "bye bye"! I think she was headed to the Nordstrom sale!

Young Love

It's so interesting to watch Jameson when he is around other kids. At home he is so goofy and free. He changes a little when he's out in public. Yesterday we went to a really cool park here in West Seattle. It's called Whale Tail Park. It's just one block off the water and has lots of play equiptment and a huge beautiful grassy field to play in.

I met some of my Peps friends and their kids there for a playdate. One little girl though Jameson was irrisistable and wanted to give him a hug. She was so sweet and notice the look on Jameson's face. He either wasn't too keen on the idea of being hugged or he just thought he was too cool to be hugged. It's hard to tell.

Here she comes. She's thinking about hugging him. He's playing coy and pretends he doesn't see her. That's SO "high school"...

He turns around to find her awkardly moving in.

Notice he hasn't moved an inch. He's neither going to accept or deny this gesture of affection. I'm having flashbacks to one of my old boyfriends...Jameson, at least LOOK at her!

Uh oh...I think she wants another hug.

Jameson turns away giving her the cold shoulder. I love the look on his face here. You can tell he's thouroughly annoyed.

He's outta there!

What's That Ball In The Sky?

The other day the sun actually made an appearance here in Seattle. It has been such a cold and cloudy June. I know the saying here is that summer doesn't start until after July 4th but I can't remember a time when it was THIS cold.

Anyhow, I took the opportunity to take some photos of my son in our backyard. That's the great thing about photography, you can do it anywhere and get great shots. Shooting in your own backyard allows your subjects to be as natural as can be which in turns gives you the best photos. I will travel to a location of your choice for your photoshoot; even if it's just in your backyard!

Turning Your Photography Into A Present

I love to give framed photos as gifts. It's personal, creative and always one of a kind! A few days before father's day I set my son in our backyard with a few props and started snapping away. Despite a cranky subject, I ended up getting several great photos.

I uploaded my photos to Costco's web site and ordered up an 8X10 photo. It was done in just an hour! While I was waiting for my photo to be printed, I stopped in at the frame shop and picked out a frame that suited the picture perfectly.

I jumped in the car and headed back to Costco to pick up my photo and plopped it in the frame. Viola! I had a beautiful present that I knew my husband would truly cherish for years.

You too can do this! With my photography package, you get to keep all the digital images so you can print them over and over at just a fraction of the price that the studios would charge you to print a photo. Then you can buy your own frame and you'll have a wonderful present to give to your friends or family!

A Day at Lincoln Park

West Seattle offers many beautiful areas to take pictures and Lincoln Park is one of my favorites. It has wonderful drift logs and grasses that produce a wanderlust feel to the photographs.

The otherday I had the pleasure of shooting one of my friends here. It was a perfect overcast "Seattle" day. We had a great time and their photos really captured their relaxed, loving family!
